An independent candidate, Sunil Dharma Jalmi, wins from the Betqui-Candola seat. In second place with 5,988 votes polled is Shramesh Sukdu Bhosle of the BJP. Trailing in third and fourth places are Vinay Vithal Gaude (RGP) and Shaunak Shamprasad Kamat (AAP) with 880 and 75 votes, respectively.

Counting is underway in 14 centres in the coastal state, which saw a turnout of more than 70% in the polls, the highest since these elections were first held in 2005.

BJP's Sameksha Vaman Naik has secured the Usgao-Ganje seat with 6,290 votes. Here's the total votes polled by each candidate in this constituency:
- Sameksha Vaman Naik (BJP)- 6,290 votes
- Manisha Krishna Shenvi Usegaonkar (Congress)- 2,932 votes
- Nerupa Umesh Gaude (RGP)- 567
- Devata Suresh Porob (Independent)- 563
The BJP has won the Borim Zilla Panchayat Constituency of South Goa with Poonam Chandrakant Samant securing the highest number of votes -- 4,524.
Among the candidates were Bhavana Manuraj Naik, who won 2,451 votes, and Harshal Sujit Borkar with 2,041 votes. Pranoti Premanand Shetkar polled 918 votes, while Chandan Kumar Gaude received 225 votes.
Independent candidate Merciana Mendes has won the Cortalim Zila Panchayat seat.
Sunil Gawas of the Bharatiya Janata Party has been declared elected as a member of the Sancoale Zila Panchayat Constituency.
Anthony Cedly Simao Braganza of the Indian National Congress secured Nuvem Zila Panchayat constituency with a total of 3,471 votes.
The Goa Zilla Panchayat Election saw a turnout of over 70.81 per cent -- the highest since these elections were first held in 2005.
As counting is underway in 14 centres is under way, the BJP has won nine seats and the Congress three so far.
