Train cancelled today from Jammu:Indian Railways (IR) has regulated the operations of more than 50 trains in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) following heavy rainfall in the region. The rail traffic in Punjab and J&K falls under the administrative control of Northern Railway (NR) zone.
Trains affected by rain today
In a statement, Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Northern Railway said that 38 trains have been cancelled, 10 short terminated and four short originated.
“Due to heavy rain and flood, the rail traffic between Kathua – Madhopur Punjab has been suspended. Consequently, the following trains shall remain temporarily cancelled/short-terminated/short-originated,” the zonal railway said.
