Youth kills father for refusing to attend his wedding

The accused,in a fit of rage,allegedly attacked his father with stones,leading to his death.

A 19-year-old boy allegedly stoned his father to death after he refused to attend his wedding ceremony in Dhabi area near here,police said today.

The incident took place last night at Dhanashawar village when the accused Shivraj and his father Chotmal (45) were in an inebriated state,ASP N L Pawan said.

An altercation broke out between Shivraj and Chotmal after the latter refused to attend to his son’s wedding,which was fixed for next week,as it was against his wish.

The accused,in a fit of rage,allegedly attacked his father with stones,leading to his death on the spot.

Shivraj has been arrested,the ASP said,adding further investigations are on.
