Placement agency owner held for rape

According to police sources,Yadav kept girls in a room in Chirag Dilli and would physically assault them. Police came to know of this when a girl,who Yadav had brought from Punjab,escaped and informed police.

In her complaint,the woman said Yadav told her that she can stay at his house till he found a job for her. “He kept telling me that he was looking for a job for me and that he would send me to a house to work. He used to sexually assault me every day for over two months. He had kept me in the house forcibly fulfill his desires,” she told police.

She said she was introduced to Yadav by one Anand Yadav.

According to the complaint,the woman fled from Yadav’s house on August 29. “When Yadav did not find the woman in his room,he called his associate,Anand. He asked Anand to locate her. Anand spotted the woman outside Archana Complex in GK-I. He informed Yadav,” a senior police officer said.

After Yadav reached the spot,police said,a scuffle broke out between the three. The woman abused Yadav and Anand,and they attacked her with a stick.

According to police,the men hit the woman on her forehead and fled. She approached the nearby police station and was taken to AIIMS for a medical examination,police said.

Yadav was arrested after the woman was asked by the police to call him up on the mobile phone and apologise to him. Police tracked the cellphone number and nabbed Yadav.

A case of rape has been registered against Yadav and police are looking for Anand.
