At least 50 people are feared dead and over 400 people injured as 10-12 coaches of the Shalimar-Chennai Coromandel Express and 3-4 coaches of another train from Yeswanthpur to Howrah derailed near Baleswar in Odisha late Friday night.
SRC Odisha and DG Fire Services have already been dispatched to the spot to supervise arrangements. Medical college and hospitals in and around Balasore are kept on alert and SCBMC have been alerted too.
