Notably, public-sector banks (PSBs) and private banking institutions will be closed today, on Monday, August 25, on the occasion of Tirubhav Tithi of Srimanta Sankardev, according to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) 2025 holiday calendar.

There is a total of 15 bank holidays designated for August 2025, according to the RBI calendar for the year 2025.
