Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma, who has been away from the television screens ever since the curtains were pulled on his Sony TV show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is now returning to entertain the audience. But this time he has found a "new address". Instead of TV, the comedian's show, which is tentatively titled Kapil Sharma's Comedy Show, will premiere on Netflix. A promo of the same was shared by the streamer which has Kapil introducing his fans to the new show in his peculiar way. It begins with him telling his secretary that he doesn't want anything old in his new home. But then he spots Archana Puran Singh hiding in a refrigerator and jokes, "Who has invited her here? First, the fridge is so old and she is even older". Later, when he sees the members of The Kapil Sharma Show including Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek, he yells at his secretary for inviting them to the show. But, as his secretary offers to expel all of them, Kapil says, "We have changed our home, not family." Towards the end, he promises that his new show will be full of laughter. The promo was shared with the caption, "Pata hai kya, Kapil ka naya pata? Sharing the good news on our family group because Kapil & the gang are coming soon to Netflix!" The fans of Kapil Sharma expressed their excitement for the new show. One of them commented on the promo, "Kapil, Archana Ma’am and the entire TKSS team are back but on Netflix Can’t wait for the new show ." Another added, "Happy Diwali to Netflix Team. Mind-blowing announcement ." However, a couple of them also expressed disappointment on losing easy access to Kapil's show. A comment on the promo read, "It was such fun & easy for us common viewers to watch his show. Now we have to take a subscription for it ." While Krushna, Kiku and Rajiv made it to the promo, a few fans also questioned Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar's absence. The two had pivotal roles in The Kapil Sharma Show and have been associated with Kapil from the time he came up with Comedy Nights With Kapil on Colors.
