Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hee break marriage myth in Divorce Insurance streaming on Prime Video: ‘Don’t go all-in’
Lee Da Hee and Lee Dong Wook star in Amazon Prime Video's Divorce Insurance, a bold K-drama exploring love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

Imagine if relationships came with a safety net—one that safeguarded hearts as much as finances. That’s exactly what Divorce Insurance, now streaming on Prime Video, is all about. Korean actor Lee Da Hee leads the bold new K-drama alongside Goblin star Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, and Lee Kwang Soo. Known for her roles in hit dramas such as The Beauty Inside and I Can Hear Your Voice, Lee opened up about marriage, divorce, and her new project in a Prime Video interview as she steps into the role of Jeon Na Rae.
Lee Da Hee opens up about her new K-drama Divorce Insurance
The Divorce Insurance dropped two episodes on March 31st and April 1st on Prime Video. The romantic comedy stars Lee Da Hee as a financial mathematician whose life takes a turn when she joins the product development team at a life insurance company. Alongside her extraordinary team, she sets out to create something groundbreaking: divorce insurance, designed to help people secure their futures even when love goes off track. In a recent interview, Lee opened up about her immediate connection to Na Rae’s fierce independence. Speaking about her character, she shared, “What defines Na-rae is her confidence. I admired how she stands by her choices without regret and carries herself with self-assurance. I believe these qualities make her even more lovable.”
Unlike the typical romance heroine, Na Rae doesn’t see love through rose-colored glasses. Instead, she approaches relationships with a practical mindset. Lee Da Hee also shared her personal perspective on marriage: “Don’t go all-in on your marriage,” she advised. “I don’t think it’s right to give up everything because there are other very important parts of your life other than marriage.” The K-drama explores the themes of “love, heartbreak, and self-discovery,” challenging the traditional idea that love should come at the cost of one’s individuality.
The Divorce Insurance follows Na Rae and her team as they tackle one of modern relationships’ biggest concerns—how to protect love while also protecting oneself. This 2025 Prime Video K-drama encourages viewers to see marriage and divorce as natural parts of life rather than absolute successes or failures. Lee Da Hee hopes the series will open up more honest discussions about relationships. “I hope viewers can see divorce from a broader perspective rather than simply viewing it as something negative. I’d also love for them to reflect on what it means to love themselves and live authentically.”
Alongside Lee Da Hee, the drama features an impressive cast, including Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Been, and Lee Kwang Soo. Directed by Lee Won Seok and produced by KT Studio Genie, Mongjagso, and Studio Mondo, the series is streaming in 240 countries worldwide.
