The first two seasons of the thriller series Delhi Crime have received wide critical acclaim as well as appreciation from its fans. Now the Netflix series is coming back with its latest season, and the stakes have never been higher for DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, played by actor Shefali Shah. This time around her team of officers will be going up against a new antagonist in the form of Badee Didi, played by Maharani actor Huma Qureshi.

The trailer opens with Chaturvedi trying to connect the dots between two separate cases involving human trafficking. Once she identifies the connection between the two, she puts together a team to investigate both the cases simultaneously. As the team seems to get to the bottom of the whole conspiracy, the common factor rears its ugly head, and the perpetrator behind it all is revealed to be Badee Didi (elder sister).

Chaturvedi soon discovers that this case is not limited to just India and that it involves international players as well. Time is of the essence, as the girls that have gone missing need to be located before they are shipped outside of the country. Inspired by true events, the trailer paints a grim but honest picture of the state of women’s safety, and just like last season, the main antagonist is a woman herself.
