BTS’ Jin announces video call fansign for Echo: Here’s how Indian fans can sign up; entry open till May 15

BTS’ Jin, who recently returned from his military service, has announced his second solo album titled Echo. The K-pop idol had earlier kicked off his solo career with The Astronaut before enlistment and later dropped a full album, Happy, in November. As the date for BTS’ reunion draws closer, all seven members of the group have so far released their solo projects. While full details are still under wraps, what we do know is that Echo brings “Jin’s take on universal life experiences, capturing everyday emotions with warmth and sincerity,” according to a press statement from HYBE.

The oldest member of the South Korean boy band has also announced a virtual fansign event for fans, and if you’re one of the global BTS ARMY hoping to be part of it, here’s your golden chance to make it in. Here’s how.

Jin Is Calling! Here’s your chance to join the ‘Echo’ fansign

Echo is releasing on May 16, but, ahead of that, Jin is giving fans a chance to join him for a special one-on-one moment.  If you pre-order the album during the given timeline, you can enter a raffle to be one of 100 lucky winners who’ll get a personal 60-second video call with Jin.

When is it happening?

The video call event is set for Sunday, May 25, 2025 (Korean time). The exact time will be confirmed later. Each winner will get 60 seconds to talk to Jin.

According to the Weverse announcement, make sure you are getting- [RAFFLE EVENT] Echo SET + Echo (Weverse Albums ver.) Albums labelled only as ‘Echo’ (Weverse Albums ver.) won’t be counted. Any other version of Echo that doesn’t say “[RAFFLE EVENT]” is also not eligible.

Start Date: April 15, 2025, 11:00 AM (KST)
Deadline: May 15, 2025, 11:59 PM (KST)

Winners of the event will be announced on or after May 16, 2025, at 6:00 PM (KST). (2:30 PM IST). You can check the results on the My Events page on Weverse. Only 100 fans will be selected. Your personal information, including name, contact, etc., must be correct when you enter the raffle. You won’t be able to change it afterwards, and if the details don’t match, you might lose the chance. Also, this opportunity can’t be gifted or resold. So, make sure you’re entering for yourself.

How to join the Video Call event

Step 1: Buy the eligible Echo album version on Weverse Global.

Step 2: Go to the Enter Raffle button (on the Weverse app or website).

Step 3: Log in using the same Weverse account you used to make the purchase.

Step 4: Fill in credentials

According to the announcement, the number of orders you place will be equal to the number of entries you receive. If you cancel your order, your raffle entry will also be cancelled. Albums will begin shipping after the raffle entry period ends. If you get selected, one of the albums you ordered will be opened and signed by Jin for the event. A person must be 14 or above in order to pass the eligibility criteria. Signed albums will be shipped within two weeks of the video call. Check out the detailed announcement here.

BTS’ Jin announces second solo album ECHO

Jin, who recently made his acting debut on Netflix’s Korean variety series Jinny’s Kitchen: Bizarre B&B, is now ready to “showcase his versatile vocals across a spectrum of moods and styles” with the release of his second solo album titled ECHO. While there has been no announcement of a solo tour yet, the company shared that the singer is currently focusing more on his “evolving artistry” and the upcoming projects. ECHO will drop worldwide on May 16, with more details expected to roll out in the coming weeks. The South Korean vocalist already has some major solos under his belt, including Awake, Epiphany, and Moon.
