Samantha Ruth Prabhu has found her ‘most powerful source of strength’ amid year-long break from work: ‘Sitting still seemed almost impossible’
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on a year-long break from acting to take care of her health.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was last seen in Shaakunthalam, is currently on a break from acting. The actor is taking a year-long break to focus on her physical and mental health. Earlier, it was said that Samantha is leaving for the US, however, she has revealed what she has been up to now with an Instagram post.
The pictures reveal that the actor is currently at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, where she is seen taking classes from spiritual guru Jakki Vasudev, known as Sadhguru. Samantha has been an ardent follower of his teachings and has visited the Isha Foundation many times.
“A while ago, sitting still—without thoughts flooding, without twitching, itching, twisting and turning—seemed almost impossible. But today, a meditative state is my most powerful source of strength. Of calm. Of connection. And of clarity. Who would have thought that something so simple could be so powerful,” read her caption.

The Theri actor, who has been struggling with a chronic health condition called Myositis, seems to have found some calm after a tiring six months as she was working on back-to-back projects including the Indian version of Citadel. Myositis is an auto-immune disorder wherein the immune system of the body ends up attacking the healthy muscles causing severe pain.
Samantha will next be seen with Vijay Deverakonda in Kushi, directed by Shiv Nirvana. She will also be seen in the Indian version of the Citadel series, which also stars Varun Dhawan.
