Pushpa 2 box office day 17 early report: Allu Arjun-starrer just Rs 10 cr away from crossing Baahubali 2’s domestic record, inches away from Rs 1030 cr
Pushpa 2 box office day 17 early report: Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2 The Rule has made Rs 1020 crore so far.

Pushpa 2: The Rule’s magic refuses to go down and the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer is breaking huge box office records everyday. The film has become the most successful film of 2024 and has also become the third highest grosser of all time in Indian cinema. In India, Pushpa 2 has now entered its third week and has already crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark.
After the second weekend, the film started witnessing a slight drop in its numbers, however, the figures started picking up as the weekend approached closer. On Saturday, which is 17th day of the release, the movie has earned Rs 14.36 crore till 7 pm in all languages, as per Sacnilk. The film has surpassed its third Friday collection on Saturday and is expected to cross Rs 20 crore mark both on Saturday and Sunday. The film in its third weekend is expected to cross Rs 1050 crore mark in India.

On Thursday, the film completed two weeks of its release and in the second week it made Rs 264.8 crore, which was around 63 percent lower than the collection of week one, according to Sacnilk. Meanwhile, the total collection of Pushpa 2: The Rule, in India, in all languages is Rs 1020 crore till Saturday evening. Baahubali 2 made Rs 1030.42 crore upon its release in India and made Rs 1788 crore globally. It looks like Pushpa 2 will cross that record soon.
Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2 had an overall 29.97 percent Telugu Occupancy on Saturday. On the other hand, there were 23.6 percent of Hindi Occupancy. The occupancy of day 17 is slightly higher than day 16.
Meanwhile, for the unversed, in 16 days of its release, the film created history by collecting over Rs 1500 crore worldwide. The film is expected to have a smooth run till Christmas eve. But, with the release of Viduthalai and Baby John, on December 20 and 25, respectively, it will be interesting to see how the collections pan out in the coming week. Apart from Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the Sukumar directorial also features Fahadh Faasil and Jagapati Babu in pivotal roles.
