After receiving an emotional welcome from his family upon his release from jail on Saturday, actor Allu Arjun was also greeted by his Pushpa 2: The Rule director Sukumar, and friends, actors Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati and Naga Chaitanya. They met the actor at his residence on Saturday. Many pictures and videos of the celebrities arriving at Arjun's house in Jubilee Hills were shared on social media. The Pushpa 2 star was arrested on Friday, in connection with the death of a woman during a stampede at his film screening last week. In a video shared by news agency ANI, Vijay Deverakonda was spotted arriving at Arjun's home along with his brother, Anand Deverakonda. Vijay first hugged Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, as the Pushpa actor was on a call at the time. The Pushpa 2 star gave Vijay a hug. Other videos showed them having a conversation inside the house. He was accompanied by the film's producers Ravi and Naveen. The actor was spotted smiling, laughing and talking to them for some time. He then exchanged a hug with Sukumar and held his hand for a while. A 39-year-old woman died and her son was critically injured on December 4 during a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, when fans rushed to catch a glimpse of the actor at the premiere of his blockbuster Pushpa 2: The Rule. Following the incident, the city police registered a case against Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under different sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), as a complaint was lodged by the deceased woman's family. However, her husband has now withdrawn the complaint.
