Jr NTR-Prashanth Neel put rumours to rest as they gear up for next schedule of NTRNEEL: ‘The beast mode is about to ignite again’

The latest update on NTRNEEL comes amid speculation that the film had been indefinitely stalled due to creative differences between Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR.

Director Prashanth Neel and actor Jr NTR are gearing up for the next schedule of their upcoming film, tentatively titled NTRNEEL. Production house Mythri Movie Makers took to X to make an announcement about the upcoming schedule.

They shared a photo of Jr NTR in the makeup chair, undergoing a final hairstyle touch-up on set, with Prashanth supervising closely. The caption read, “The beast mode is about to ignite again #NTRNEEL’s next schedule begins soon. Man of Masses.”

NTRNEEL will also feature Rukmini Vasanth along with Malayalam actors Biju Menon and Tovino Thomas. The film is reportedly a sprawling gangster epic set in the world of the yakuza and international crime syndicates. Jr NTR’s new look for the film recently went viral after a behind-the-scenes image of him holding a gun surfaced online. The actor appears to have lost significant weight for the role.

NTRNEEL will reunite Prashanth Neel with his regular collaborators, with Bhuvan Gowda handling cinematography and Ravi Basrur composing the music. The film is reportedly aiming for an early 2027 release.
