Allu Arjun announces release date of Pushpa The Rule teaser: ‘He is coming with double the fire’

Along with the teaser release date, a new poster of Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule has also been released which features the feet of Pushpa which is adorned with anklets.

Eleven months ago, the promo ‘Where is Pushpa?’ gave a glimpse into what is to come in Pushpa The Rule, the second part of Allu Arjun‘s hit film Pushpa The Rise. The teaser revealed that Pushpa had escaped jail with many gun wounds. Suspected to be dead, Pushpa supporters create riots and force a bandh across the state. The promo also made a philanthropist out of the redwood smuggler. The gangster seems to have been spending all the loot money on people, playing a Robin Hood-like figure. Thus the public is frustrated to hear that the good gangster is dead. But towards the end of the promo, it is revealed the hero is alive. And he is instilling fear even among the wild animals in the forest. It was all about a year ago. Since then fans didn’t get any update about the movie after the promo.

Now, the makers of Pushpa have finally come up with a new update, which reveals the teaser of Pushpa The Rule will be unveiled on April 8, which marks the 42nd birthday of Arjun.

Along with the update, a new poster has also been released which features the feet of Pushpa which is adorned with salangai (anklets).

Directed by Sukumar of Rangasthalam fame, Pushpa The Rise followed the story of a daily labourer’s rise in the underworld of redwood smuggling. It ended with Pushpa killing his competitors and finding a formidable enemy in SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS (Fahadh Faasil). While it was thought Pushpa The Rule will be mostly about the clash between these two titans, the promo suggests that makers are raising the stakes to a whole new level with the second part.

Other than Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, the film also has Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role. She is playing the role of Pushpa’s wife, and the actor recently revealed she has a bigger role in the second part as she is now part of the protagonist’s personal life. Pushpa The Rule will be released in theatres on August 15.
