Vicky Jain confesses he could have been ‘little more polite’ to Ankita Lokhande in Bigg Boss, defends mother: ‘Emotions just come out…’

Vicky Jain discussed his equation with wife Ankita Lokhande, acknowledging that he could have been 'a little more polite' in handling her emotional needs.

Despite not clinching the Bigg Boss 17 trophy, Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain gained a significant fan following during their time in the Bigg Boss house. However, this newfound fame came at the expense of their privacy, with their personal struggles making headlines. In a recent interview, Vicky discussed his equation with Ankita, acknowledging that he could have been ‘a little more polite’ in handling her emotional needs. Additionally, he shed light on his family’s perspective, especially his mother, who, according to fans, was unfair to Ankita.

Reflecting on how their relationship was perceived by fans, Vicky told Hindustan Times, “They said it’s looking so out of hand. Relationship is not the only priority there, as you are also thinking about the game. I am a business guy who took an off just for this show. I thought it’s my best chance to enjoy. So I was also concentrating on the game. But yes, a little time and attention could have been given. I should have been a little more polite to Ankita’s emotional needs. I couldn’t understand that there.”

Vicky Jain went on to defend his family, particularly his mother, who was accused by some fans of being unfair to Ankita Lokhande during their conflicts on Bigg Boss. Explaining his family’s perspective, he said, “Ankita and me decided to get married at a certain age when we were mature. My family isn’t a part of this industry, they don’t understand. In Tier 2 and 3 cities, people meet each other at so many places, it doesn’t happen in a city like Mumbai. So naturally they asked questions to my family about our relationship when they saw us on the show, on how was the relationship with Ankita. My family doesn’t know how we are because they don’t live with us. Ankita’s mother has, so she has seen us having differences, like a normal family. I never say I support (what happened), I am not vouching for it. But a mother’s emotions just come out at any moment, sometimes they are reasonable, sometimes they aren’t.”

Ankita was the fourth contestant to be evicted from the Bigg Boss 17 house, while Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra emerged as the top three finalists. Vicky, on the other hand, exited the Bigg Boss house before the grand finale.
