Sheezan Khan confirmed for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, gets court’s permission to travel abroad
The Vasai court has granted permission to Sheezan Khan to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. Allegedly accused of abetting Tunisha Sharma's suicide, the Ali Baba actor was released on bail in March.

Actor Sheezan Khan is all set to be one of the contestants on Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. The Rohit Shetty hosted series will soon go on the floors in South Africa with celebrities from across mediums participating. Sheezan, who is out on bail in Tunisha Sharma suicide case, appealed to the court to allow him to travel for the show. On Wednesday, the Vasai court granted him permission to fly abroad.
His lawyer Shailendra Mishra told indianexpress.com, “We are grateful to the court, as our application has been allowed and Sheezan Khan has been permitted to travel abroad for Khatron Ke Khiladi. I was surprised by the submissions made by the prosecution as their reply and argument supported our case, and their attempt of misleading the court was also thwarted at the threshold.
Sheezan Khan was arrested on December 25 after his former girlfriend and co-star Tunisha Sharma died. He was arrested on abetment of suicide charge based on her mother’s complaint. After 70 days, the actor was granted a bail. After Tunisha’s death and Sheezan’s arrest, their show Ali Baba was revamped, with Abhishek Nigam and Manul Chudasama now playing the leads.
Earlier, we had exclusively reported about actor-director Rohit Roy joining the show. Apart from Sheezan and Rohit, the other confirmed contestants include Bigg Boss 16 fame Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam, Kundali Bhagya actor Anjum Fakih, Kumkum Bhagya actors Ruhi Chaturvedi and Arjit Taneja, Dhai Kilo Prem fame Anjali Anand, TV and web star Nyrraa M Banerji and former Roadies winner Soundous Moufakir. As per sources, singer Dino James may also be one of the contestants on the show.
On joining Rohit Shetty’s adventure-based show, Anjali Anand said in a statement, “I have great respect for all the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi because conquering one’s fears on television while competing with some of the strongest celebrities is no cakewalk. I’m ready to battle my phobias and explore a foreign terrain with my fellow contestants. I don’t get spooked easily so it will be interesting to see how well I handle challenges on this show. I’m excited to find out what surprises and dangers this edition has in store for me.”
The shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 will kick start by the end of May in a foreign locale, while the show will go on air sometime in June or July. While all stunts would be shot concurrently, the winner announcement would happen a day prior to the finale.
The adaptation of international format Fear Factor, Khatron Ke Khiladi airs on Colors.
