Rupali Ganguly dismisses rumours of quitting Anupamaa, says she’d fight Rajan Shahi to stay in the show

Actress Rupali Ganguly and her show Anupamaa dominated headlines throughout 2024. Now, Rupali has once again made headlines with reports of her quitting the show. As per several reports, it was claimed that Rupali, who has been a part of the popular show for the last five years, is quitting it soon. However, the actress swiftly dismissed these rumours.

Talking to Times Of India, Rupali said the Anupamaa set is like her second home, and she is not going anywhere. Rupali added that this news is the result of ‘people’s overactive imagination.’ The actress also shared that both she and her husband are thankful to producer Rajan Shahi for giving her the recognition, platform, and position.

Rupali jokingly added that if Rajan ever asked her to leave Anupamaa, she would likely fight and argue with him to stay. She called the rumours baseless and described it as “ridiculous” that people would speculate and write such stories.

Thanking her fans and well-wishers, Rupali reaffirmed her commitment to working hard for Anupamaa as long as Rajan Shahi wants her on board. She also expressed her hope that the show continues for many more years, promising that “the best is yet to come.”

Anupamaa producers Rajan and Deepa Shahi also dismissed these rumours.
