But this time Reena Roy will be playing a prominent role on the small screen. Reena Roy, who has given some popular films like Aasha, Kalicharan, will be seen on the small screen in the show 'Rani Mahal'. The actress, who was last seen in her sister Barkha's TV serial 'Eena Meena Deeka', will be playing the role of Raaj Maata in this series about a royal family. 'Rani Mahal' is said to be a show about the politics of women residing in a palace. Elaborating on her character and Reena Roy's preparations, her sister Barkha revealed that Reena's character Raaj Maata will have shades of grey and is a strong character. She also added that the veteran actress had to reduce about 30 kgs for the role. Vikas Gupta's TV show 'Rani Mahal' also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Anita Hassanandani and VJ Bani.
