Actors Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have been in a relationship since 2021. The two met on Bigg Boss 15 and fell in love on the show. Since the TejRan, what their fans fondly call them, has been going strong, while the two have faced many rumors about their separation, all is well in their paradise. Of late rumors about their wedding have sparked off ever since Tejasswi Prakash’s mother appeared on Celebrity Masterchef. On the cooking reality show, she had said that she wanted to see her daughter get married this year. Now as Karan Kundrra joins Laughter Chefs Season 2, he exclusively spoke to SCREEN and answered if he will indeed tie the knot with Tejasswi this year or not.
When Karan was told how Tejasswi’s mom expressed her desire to see her daughter married this year, so is the TejRan wedding on the cards? Karan said, “I don’t know much about this. A lot of people want that, but I don’t have any comments on that.” On Celebrity Masterchef, Tejasswi had denied the news by saying, “There have been no such conversations between her and Karan yet.”
A few days back, the actress also spoke about how she would like to get married in a low-key ceremony. In 2024, while talking to SCREEN, Karan also disclosed his plans to marry. During the interview, Karan’s co-star Erica Fernandes was asked to write a matrimonial profile for him, and that is when Fernandes quipped that, “Karan is never looking to get married.” Responding to this, Kundrra said, “Waqt badalte der nahi lagta (It doesn’t take long for times to change).”
Sharing if took some inspiration from Tejasswi’s journey on Masterchef for his new innings on Laughter Chefs 2, Karan said, “Monday to Friday Teja is managing the cooking front on TV and Saturday-Sunday I am doing so. Both of us are massive foodies, right now she is sitting in front of me asking me what she should cook. I don’t cook much and that is better. Everything she is cooking after the show is great, so I am very happy.”
On the work front, Tejasswi is currently participating in Celebrity Masterchef, while Karan Kundrra has replaced Abdu Rozik on Laughter Chefs Season 2.
