Jay Bhanushali slams trolls targeting wife Mahhi Vij for making their daughter wear lipstick: ‘If somebody gets mean…’

In an interview with ETimes, reacting to this, Jay said that young girls like make up and often idolise their mothers. Tara is no different and while the couple does not apply any make up usually, they bend the rules on weekend to let the child have it her way a bit. However, they go back to following the rules during weekdays when their daughter has to go to school. “If somebody gets mean, I also don’t stop. I reply to them equally meanly. I have done that before and I do not shy away from accepting it,” the actor told the publication.

The actor also said that he and Mahhi understand the care their fans have for Tara, but if somebody gets mean, the actor said he then feels it necessary to give back an apt response. Jay said that he answers trolls in their language even if it means that he has to be mean like them. While Jay’s family often advises him to let go of trolls and not engage with them, the actor doesn’t mind giving trolls a taste of their medicine.

On the work front, Jay is coming back to daily soap after almost a decade with Hum…Rahe Na Rahe Hum. The show also brings Uttaran fame actor Tinaa Dutta to daily show after a long gap. The show revolves around two people, who come from completely different walks of life, and fall in love. While Jay’s character comes from a royal and rich family, who leads a disciplined and strict life, Tina comes from a different economic background and has a rather cheerful personality.
