Celebrity MasterChef, hosted by Farah Khan, Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna, has entered its final stage. On Tuesday, the show got its semi-finalists and top six contestants: Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Rajiv Adatia, Archana Gautam, Mr. Faisu, and Nikki Tamboli. However, veteran actress Usha Nadkarni was eliminated from the cooking reality show. While many contestants were emotional over her exit, social media influencer Mr. Faisu was the most affected, even blaming himself for her eviction.

During Redemption Week, contestants faced challenges to secure their spot in the competition. While Faisu was the first to enter the danger zone, he observed and guided others still in the race. On Tuesday, they took on the Triple Threat challenge, where they had to choose from two batches of ingredients to create a dish. Following Faisu’s advice, Usha selected his recommended ingredients, only to find herself in the bottom two alongside Tejasswi.

Finally, Usha Nadkarni couldn’t make it to the cut. As she left the MasterChef kitchen, Usha got very emotional. Announcing her eviction, Chef Kunal said, “Usha Tai, you bring a lot of love and blessings to this show. We are all your children. But this is a competition, and only those who are strong can go ahead. Unfortunately, you will leave the kitchen today.” Responding to this, Usha said, “I knew it since morning that I would get evicted today. I felt it already.”

An emotional Faisu said, “I feel guilty that I asked her to pick the other batch of ingredients. I feel she is getting evicted because of me. When I told her to pick the other option, she didn’t think twice and went with my choice.” Usha Tai told Faisu, “The people whom I trust, I believe in them. I can figure out who is lying and who is speaking the truth. You are not the kind who lies, I call you my son…” As Usha broke down, Faisu hugged her. She later told him, “You win the trophy, I will be waiting.”

Usha Nadkarni’s journey on Celebrity MasterChef was quite interesting. While her dishes lacked in presentation, they were consistently praised for their exceptional taste.

On a parting note, Usha said, “I am going. Every morning I would meet all these kids, and Ranveer, Vikas, Kunal, and Farah. The way Farah used to taunt me for the chicken or Ranveer sir whispering in my ears ‘I Love You’, I will miss all this.” She even thanked the crew and apologized to them for any inconvenience she caused them.

Celebrity MasterChef airs on Sony TV every Monday to Friday at 8 pm. After Usha Nadkarni, Archana Gautam will be evicted next.
