Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan schools Amaal Mallik for his poor performance and abusive language: ‘You are coming across as a background artiste’
On the latest episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Salman Khan gave a strict warning to music composer Amaal Mallik to correct his behavior inside the house.

Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar: On the second Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, host Bigg Boss 19 gave contestants a serious reality check, specifically addressing Farrhana Bhat, Nehal Chudasama, Amaal Mallik, and Gaurav Khanna. Salman schooled Amaal for his lazy attitude and also issued a stern warning to all contestants against using abusive language inside the house.
In the second week of Bigg Boss 19, there were multiple instances where music composer Amaal Mallik was seen sleeping inside the house. Despite receiving several warnings and even a punishment from Bigg Boss, Amaal failed to change his behaviour, prompting Salman Khan to give him a stern dressing-down. The Sikandar actor kick-started the latest episode by taunting all the contestants for sleeping excessively. Salman said, “This is unfair, Bigg Boss. The contestants are on a holiday inside the house and I am supposed to work, which I enjoy, by the way. I sleep for 3-4 hours with great difficulty. We travel for two hours, use the phone for two hours, and then we sleep for 10-12 hours. So, how much time in life is left? In my age, the days that are coming are fewer. So we work more and sleep less, because that’s how we can sustain the name we have made.”
He added, “No one has slept so much in the house, not even Khali.”
Later, Salman Khan gave cups of coffee to Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Amaal Mallik, and Gaurav Khanna, asking them to “wake up and smell the coffee before it’s too late.”

Talking about flouting the rules and being lazy, Salman Khan asked Amaal Mallik, “Amaal, what am I to you?” Amaal responded, “You gave me my career, you are a father figure and an elder brother.”
The Bigg Boss 19 host added, “Let’s say, I am an elder brother, and you have come to this show. What is your responsibility towards the show? Firstly, you never asked me before coming to the show. I had no idea. I was shocked to see you here. And now that you have come, are you here to sleep? Is the bed at your house uncomfortable? What are you here to do?” Amaal responded, “I should follow the rules; it’s my mistake.”
Salman continued, “You said at the launch you want to show everyone who is the real Amaal. What are you waiting for? In the first week, you raised expectations by doing great, and everyone thought you would rule the house. In the second week, you just make a comment and get out of a situation. You keep sleeping through all that happened. A person who could be at the front of the line is appearing as a background artiste. To make matters worse for you, it’s shocking to see what other contestants keep talking about you. Everyone thinks you have the potential to lead the house, but you have not given any content this week.”

Justifying his actions, Amaal accepted his mistake and explained that he is used to taking afternoon naps. However, his explanation led to more schooling from Salman, who said, “How old are you? At 35, you sleep in the afternoon. So if you sleep the whole day, when would you work when you were outside? You are so young, and this is how you behave.”
Salman Khan further discussed the abusive language that Amaal Mallik used on the show and said, “People see this show 24/7, and the language you’ll use is being seen, so please think. Imagine what your family would be going through? You are here to make your careers, not to destroy yourselves. You all need this platform. When you get out, you will be flooded with work. But I was shocked to hear this language from you, Amaal. You even targeted Abhishek’s parents. Had anyone told you this, would you tolerate it? We see huge potential in you. You have a strong mind, and this is something you need to develop. This is the house where you do it, you have three months. Your habit becomes your character, so be careful.”
