Bigg Boss 19 Contestant Fees: Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 is getting a lot of traction for its mix of contestants. As the show heads closer to clocking 10 days of its release, the buzz around the contestant fees continues to excite fans. Now, SCREEN has exclusively learned what a few contestants on the show are charging. As reported earlier, Gaurav Khanna is the highest-paid contestant, followed by Amaal Mallik. As per our source, the Anupamaa actor is rumored to be charging Rs 17.5 lakhs a week to stay in the Bigg Boss 19 house.
The source informs, Gaurav’s per-day fee on the show is Rs 2.5 lakhs. Other than this whopping amount, Gaurav has also been promised a show with either Star or Colors after his stint on Bigg Boss. Gaurav, who last won Celebrity MasterChef, was also among the last contestants to get locked for the show. Interestingly, with his Bigg Boss 19 fees, Gaurav has bagged sixth position amongst the top 10 highest-paid contestants in the history of Bigg Boss. While Pamela Anderson remains the highest-paid Bigg Boss contestant with Rs 2.5 crores for three days; amongst the actors, it is Karanveer Bohra who was reportedly charging Rs 20 lakhs per week in Bigg Boss 12.
Other than Gaurav, Amaal Mallik is also among the top three highest-paid contestants this season. Amaal is rumored to be charging Rs 8.75 lakhs for a week. According to sources, his per day fee on Bigg Boss 19 is Rs 1.25 lakhs. Awez Darbar and Ashnoor Kaur are reportedly paid Rs 6 lakhs a week. According to several media reports, Pranit More and Mridul Tiwari are the least paid contestants on the show.
While the housemates have been stirring up interesting drama over several issues, in the first week, the house already seems to be divided into small groups. However, some contestants who have emerged to be strong contenders on the show are actor Gaurav Khanna, music composer Amaal Mallik, actress Kunickaa Sadanand, director Zeishan Quadri, reality show star Baseer Ali, and influencers Mridul Tiwari and Tanya Mittal.
One group includes Gaurav Khanna, Abhishek Bajaj, Nagma Mirajkar, Farrhana Bhatt, and Mridul Tiwari. The other one seems to have Amaal Mallik, Zeishan Quadri, Baseer Ali, Nehal Chudasama, and Ashnoor Kaur. A third group of Kunickaa Sadanand, Tanya Mittal, Neelam Giri, and Pranit More. Ashnoor Kaur and Natalia Stanoszek are the only neutral contestants in the game right now.
Recently on the show, viewers saw a major fight between Farrhana Bhat and Baseer Ali, where the two damaged each other’s personal belongings. Baseer even threw Farrhana’s mattress into the swimming pool. Kunickaa Sadanand, meanwhile, lost her immunity as she was disqualified from captaincy; Ashnoor Kaur won the immunity in her stead.
