Firoza Khan may have had a slow start on Bigg Boss 17 but she is slowly emerging as a strong contender. Not someone to shy away from putting her points across, the singer from Guwahati has also indulged in many fights. However, it’s her nok-jhok relationship with Munawar Faruqui that has kept audiences thoroughly entertained.

The singer, who was part of MTV Hustle 2, shared how Bigg Boss was never on her wishlist but it was her mother’s biggest desire. “When I got selected for Hustle, she wasn’t really excited. She was like ‘go to Bigg Boss’. I think she manifested this show in my life. When she heard about my participation, she was happy beyond my imagination. She also told me the usual mom line, ‘See I told you,'” Firoza laughed to share.

The BB17 contestant also shared how she was not prepared for Hustle and hence got eliminated quite soon. However, this time, she has prepared well for the Salman Khan show. “I had auditioned for the show for fun and things worked out. But when I was there, I was left wondering what content can I give now. This is why I got eliminated soon. That was my biggest learning, and post that I trained myself and improved my skills. I wanted to be able to make the most of this platform. I want everyone to fall in love with me and my music.”

Recently there were rumours that Firoza Khan was dating Jad Hadid, a Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant. When asked about the same, she laughed to say, “Honestly, neither do I want to accept it nor deny it. We are handled by the same management company and sometimes you have to do things as per their demands. But not everything falls as per plans so I don’t think I want to comment on it.” Bigg Boss 16’s popular contestant Abdu Rozik is also managed by the same company and Firoza shared how the Tajikistani singer had advice for her.

“Abdu is a sweetheart and really guides me. I recently met him in Dubai and he explained so many things to me. He told me to not be over-conscious but also to be aware of what’s happening around me. He asked me to be natural and to make mistakes but also rectify it in the show itself,” she concluded.
