Closely following his sudden and early eviction from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Asim Riaz has dropped a series of BTS photographs from his upcoming track, “Built in Pain Vol 2.” Fresh off his controversial exit from the reality show, hosted by Rohit Shetty, the singer-rapper treated his fans to glimpses from his new song.

In a recent Instagram post, Asim shared a mix of behind-the-scenes footage and stills. A monochrome video clip showcases the artiste deep in the studio, crooning the raw emotion behind the song. Accompanying this, fans were treated to a glimpse of Asim’s sculpted physique in a separate photo. The post, simply captioned “BUILT IN PAIN,” has his fans complimenting his looks and showing their support. Built In Pain Vol 2″ is follow-up to the original track that resonated with fans and showcased the artist’s vulnerability. The former Bigg Boss alum has collaborated with Dr Zeus for the track. “If you’ve never hit the block, then you ain’t seen No crisis,” captioned another photo taken in the recording studio.

While the new music is undoubtedly generating buzz, online it’s Asim’s tumultuous stint on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 that has been making headlines. His abrupt departure following a heated argument with the Singham director has sparked intense debate and divided opinions, with his brother, Umar Riaz coming in support of him.

For the unversed, during episode two of the reality show, Asim was expelled after he had an altercation with Rohit and a few other contestants. The actor-model criticised other contestants, Aashish Mehrotra and Niyati Fatnan, and called them ‘losers,’ after he was unable to perform a task. His behaviour didn’t go down well with Rohit, who warned him by saying, “Utha ke yahi patak dunga (I will thrash you right here),” and later expelled him from the show. Asim, who struggled to perform his task, had challenged Rohit by saying, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee; the camera is on.” It certainly irked the director.

Rohit Shetty’s decision to remove Asim from the competition sent shockwaves through the reality TV landscape given Asim’s immense popularity. In fact, he fans have come out in his support and have taken a jibe at Rohit for expelling him from the show, in the comment section of Asim’s posts. “Rohit Shetty hoga apne ghar ka, Asim Riaz ko halke mai le Raha tha Rohit Shetty Asim ko poke karoge to sunne ki samta bhi rakho,” commented a fan. Another one wrote, “King is back.” “Tension mat lo Asim bhai tum kkk me nhi to dekhega kon,” read a comment under his post.
