Actor Sweety Walia, who was a close friend of the late actor, posted a picture of them together and wrote, “Omg no this can’t be true. Aditya no ways we are completely shaken may your soul rest in peace. Waheguru.”

Costume designer Rohit Verma spoke to the press and requested everyone to not spread false rumours about the late actor. He said, “Lot of people are talking about him that he was overdosed and all. I think that is bulls**t because it can be an accident. So, lets leave this in doctor’s hand, the postmortem reports have not come and I don’t think we have any right to talk like this about anyone and create wrong rumours.” When asked about his last conversation with Aditya, he said, “I think six days back and because I posed a video on Instagram on yoga and he wanted a yoga teacher. Although this incident is sad and has left everyone shocked.”

Paparazzo Viral Bhayani’s Instagram post about the actor’s death also saw many comments from television personalities. Suyyash commented, “Yaar” with a sad emoticon whereas Ruslaan Mumtaz commented, “This is so unexpected and sad.”Actor Rajniesh Duggall commented, “Shocked beyond rewards”

According to the Oshiwara police, Rajput lived in an 11th-floor flat at Lashkaria Greenwood Apartments in Oshiwara. On Monday, around 2:30 pm, Rajput’s house help, who lived nearby, heard a thud coming from the bathroom. Upon investigating, he found Rajput lying unconscious.

Aditya hailed from Delhi and had moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams of acting. He has worked in films such as Kranativeer and Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Mara. The late actor was also part of shows such as Splitsvilla 9 and did projects like Love, Code Red, Bad Boy Season 4, amongst others. Lately, he was more involved in casting process for shows.
