Chhoriyan Chali Gaon winner: Popular TV actress Anita Hassanandani emerged as the winner of Zee TV’s reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon on Saturday. She lifted the trophy after defeating Jackie Shroff’s daughter, Krishna Shroff, in the finale. During the grand finale, Anita also pledged to fund the education of the two children she lived with during the show. Talking about her victory, Anita Hassanandani said in a statement, "When I agreed to be part of Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, I knew it would push me far out of my comfort zone, but I didn’t anticipate just how much I would grow through the experience. From day one, I kept telling myself I wanted to win this for Aaravv and Rohit; they have been my biggest motivation throughout. Every time I struggled or missed home, I thought of them and pushed myself harder. Today, holding this trophy feels surreal. It’s not just my win; it’s our win as a family. They took part in traditional rural activities such as milking cows, driving bullock carts, and catching hens. Over the course of the show, they also formed close bonds with the villagers and pledged to help improve their living conditions to the best of their abilities. Anita Hassanandani rose to fame with her portrayal of a villainous character in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Her last fictional television appearance was in Suman Indori.
