Former TV actor Aashka Goradia and her husband Brent Goble have been blessed with a baby boy. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post. They also revealed the name of their son.

Aashka and Brent posted a picture of them holding their newborn’s hand. Along with the photo, Brent wrote, “This morning at 7:45am, William Alexander came into this world and straight into our hearts. ❤️ While I know my life existed before this day, I remember very little of it. For now, until my dying day, I’ll be Alex’s Daddy.”

Brent further shared, “Aashka delivered him with the strength of grace of an angel. She’s resting now, with our little one next to her. Our hearts have never been brighter. I’ve never known a love like this. Now and everyday, I’ll have living proof God exists. #family #newborn #parents #baby #happybirthday.”

As the couple shared the news, their friends and fans showered love on the newborn. Mouni Roy wrote, “I can’tt evennnnnnnn😭😭😭😭😭 My Alexiiiiiiiii, my kot kot. Maasi can’t wait to see him. All my love and blessings for my nephew ❤️🥹.” Actor Adaa Khan commented, “Congratulations to u both 💗lots n lots of love to Alex ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🧿🧿🧿🧿🧿.” Kishwer Merchant added, “Congratulations u guys ❤️❤️”. Smriti Irani also congratulated the couple as she wrote, “❤️❤️❤️congratulations! God bless 🥳.”

Aashka had announced her pregnancy on the occasion of Mother’s Day earlier this year. She posted a cute video of two yoga mats on the beach, with a tinier mat placed between them. The text on the screen read, “Beach baby is on the way, We are waiting for the greatest gift to arrive in November 2023. Send us your love and blessings, Aashka and Brent.”

In 2021, Aashka quit acting to pursue her entrepreneurial dreams. Having started her make-up brand a few years back, the actor shared that she now wants to focus on the same in a bid to take it to a new level. Calling it a ‘three-year plan’ as of now, Aashka, however, called it a ‘moving on’ decision rather than ‘quitting’.

She told indianexpress.com, “I don’t think you can give up something that has been such an important phase in your life. I would rather call it moving on to another phase. I may not find the time to do something that I have done and loved for the last 20 years now, as I want to give my 100 per cent to Renee (her make-up brand). Thus this decision came along and I don’t think it would be right to term it giving up.”

Aashka has starred in TV shows like Kkusum, Daayan, Naagin, Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 6, among others.
