Suriya recently organised a press conference for his film Kanguva at AMB Cinemas in Gachibowli. The actor addressed his fans and gave an emotional speech. Videos from the event have now surfaced online.

The actor went to shoot for an episode of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s talk show to promote his film followed by a press conference at AMB Cinemas in Gachibowli. It was around this time, when his fans gathered at the venue, making it difficult for the star to leave.
Amid this, a video of a fan wanting to click a selfie with Suriya surfaced online. In the video, a fan can be seen desperately wanting to click a selfie with the star, while his security pulled him away to make way for the actor who was mobbed by fans. Amid all this chaos, Suriya who noticed the fan, stopped the security, took his fan’s phone and clicked a selfie. Eventually, Suriya managed to leave the venue.

At the press meet, Suriya gestured his love to his fans by mirroring his scene from the 2006 film Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. Later, holding his arm out dramatically, Suriya asked, “Is my blood different than yours?”

The actor even delivered an emotional speech for his fans and said, “It’s been over two years since I have had a theatrical release but still when Surya S/o Krishnan re-released, you all went to watch it. I got tears watching your love. It really means a lot. I feel we are all connected by blood, this bond is very special.
Kanguva, directed by Siva, also stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film is touted to be made in two different timelines, with the actor playing a warrior and a modern man in the film. The film is reportedly inspired by SS Rajamoulli’s 2009 film Magadheera. Kanguva is all set to hit the big screen on November 14.
