Vishnu Vishal hits back at haters with picture featuring Rajinikanth: ‘You guys only push me to go higher and higher’
Vishnu Vishal, in a long tweet, hit out at his haters. Sharing a picture with Rajinikanth from the sets of Lal Salaam, the actor said that his haters make him grow.

Superstar Rajinikanth has wrapped up the shoot of his daughter Aishwaryaa’s upcoming film Lal Salaam. Rajini will be seen in an extended cameo in the film, which has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. Vishnu took to Twitter to share a picture from the sets of the film and wrote at length hitting out at haters, who have been trying to pull him down.
Vishnu said that many have tried to pull him down for selfish reasons but all such hate is making him grow big. He said that Lal Salaam is proof of his progress. He tweeted, “To many who tried to pull me down and who are still at it. Especially a few, who stooped so low for their selfish reasons. And to some on my timelines, who believe and talk about the same nonsense whenever I have anything to post on social media. I’m sorry. It’s clearly not working. And you guys only push me to go higher and higher.”
He added, “Even in my wildest dreams #Lalsalaam is an opportunity I never dreamt of. A big big thanks to THALAIVAR for every single moment that I witnessed while shooting and some wise words and appreciation coming straight from THE SUPERSTAR about me and my films, which are now my most prized cinematic memories and possessions.”

It is unclear to whom Vishnu Vishal has addressed the tweet and what he means by ‘the same nonsense’. However, over the years, Vishnu has been vocal about not getting proper support from the film industry despite churning out consistent hits. Earlier, in an interview with The Indian Express, he said, “I keep asking producers to back me telling that I won’t run away with just one film. But nobody did, but that’s how things are. Earlier, I used to be miffed about it, but now I have realised this is how my life is going to be.”
Vishnu’s last film Gatta Kusthi turned out to be a hit. Besides Lal Salaam, the actor has Mohandas and Aarayan lined up for release.
Lal Salaam, bankrolled by Lyca Productions, has music by AR Rahman. Rajinikanth is playing a character named Moideen Bhai in the film. The posters hint that Vishnu and Vikrant will play aspiring cricketers in the movie.
