The details of the plot have not been revealed, but the title teaser offered a glimpse into the world of a cargo port and a gangster presiding over the dock workers. Vishal took to his Twitter handle to share the new poster with the caption, “And finally, happy and elated and excited with full-on positivity to reveal the first look of my next film #Magudam in Tamil and #Makutam in Telugu. Hope you all like it. Completed the 2nd schedule and back in Chennai. More surprises await in the near future.”

The actor also thanked his technicians and wished his fans on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. In the post, he wrote, “Love you, darlings. @dhilipaction and @Richardmnathan for the hard work and team effort. Kickass action sequence we knocked off. So happy to release it on an auspicious day. Happy #vinayagarchaturthi #vinayakachavithi. Enjoy this day filled with joy, peace, and prosperity, to all my darlings. God bless.”  The film, which is the 99th production by Super Good films and has completed its second schedule recently. Magudam will have a musical score by G V Prakash Kumar.
