Recently, it was reported that Vijay‘s Leo had been subjected to several cuts and changes by CBFC. The song “Naa Ready”, which faced backlash upon release, is the most affected by the censor board, which asked the makers to replace certain lyrics. However, Vijay fans in the UK wouldn’t have such problems as the distributor there has assured on Twitter that the film will be released without any cuts and changes.

Ahimsa Entertainment, which is releasing the film in the UK, tweeted, “Out of respect for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s vision, we’re committing to NO CUTS for #LEO’s UK release. Every frame is essential, and audiences deserve to experience it in its raw form. Once we feel the film has reached a wide audience, we’ll switch to a 12A friendly version (sic).”

The company added, “The rampage box office sales for #LEO in the UK currently exclude child tickets. These will be available after the film’s age rating certification is finalized (sic).”
