The makers of Vidaamuyarchi are working in full swing to complete the shooting of the Magizh Thirumeni film, headlined by Ajith Kumar and Trisha. The movie, which is backed by Lyca Productions, is speculated to be either a Diwali release or hit the screens this November. With reports about the Hyderabad schedule of the action entertainer coming to an end, Trisha shared a photo of members of the cast and crew having a rather fun evening at a terrace garden.

With the movie rumoured to be an official adaptation of the 1997 film Breakdown, it is expected that Ajith and Trisha play a married couple in Vidaamuyarchi. The movie also marks the third collaboration between Ajith and Anirudh Ravichander after Vedhalam and Vivegam. With cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Srikanth NB, Vidaamuyarchi is gearing up to be an action-packed road drama, and is right up the forte of Maghizh, who is known for making gritty action thrillers.

Here’s the post:

Trisha, who is fresh off the success of her digital debut Brinda, which is streaming on SonyLIV, is part of multiple projects, including Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life in Tamil, Vishwambara with Chiranjeevi in Telugu, and Identity in Malayalam. Apart from Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith is also shooting for Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly, which is expected to be a flashy and outlandish movie just like the filmmaker’s previous outings. With two contrasting films coming from the stable of Ajith, all eyes are on the announcement of his next. It is speculated that the project could be the first collaboration between Ajith and Prashanth Neel. However, there have been no official updates on this front.
