Vijay recently took his trademark selfie with a sea of fans who had gathered around a stadium in Kerala, where he is shooting for his upcoming Tamil film The Greatest of All Time.

Ever since actor “Thalapathy” Vijay reached Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, it has become a festival season for his fans there as they keep thronging all the locations he visits. Fans keep showing up in front of the hotel where he is staying. And the actor makes sure that he greets them daily.

Only recently, Vijay had taken his trademark selfie with the sea of fans who had gathered around a Thiruvananthapuram stadium, where he is shooting for his upcoming Tamil film. However, contrary to expectations, the rush persisted into the second day as an even denser crowd gathered at the stadium, eagerly awaiting a glimpse of their beloved star. Much to the fans’ joy, “Vijay na” appeared and graciously took another selfie with them. His interaction didn’t end there; Vijay shared the selfie video on his social media, expressing heartfelt gratitude to his fans in Kerala. “Ente aniyathimaar, aniyanmaar, chettanmaar, chechimaar, ammamaar! Ella Malayalikalkkum ente hridayam niranja nanni 🤗 (My sisters, brothers, and mothers! My heartfelt thanks to all Malayalis),” he wrote.

In new pictures that have surfaced on the internet, Vijay is seen sporting a different hairstyle, which has gone viral on social media. On Friday, the actor was seen in a different look from what he was sporting on Thursday. Looks like Vijay is playing both the younger and older version of his character simultaneously during the shoot.

He was also seen accepting garlands and shawls from fans. The actor was also spotted posing with a differently-abled fan who visited him at his hotel.

Vijay’s visit to Kerala has showcased the number of fans he has in the state. On the day of his arrival, the Thiruvananthapuram airport was full of his fans, who surrounded his car.

Vijay is shooting for his film The Greatest of All Time in the stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the sci-fi thriller has been shot with a lot of secrecy. The film, which also stars Prabhudheva, Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, and many other stars, will be released this year. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the movie, which might turn out to be the last in Vijay’s career as he is embarking on full-time politics.
