Shankar wraps up South Africa schedule of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2; set to join sets of Ram Charan’s Game Changer
Director Shankar, who is known for concentrating on one project at a time, is currently working on Indian 2 and Game Changer simultaneously.

For the first time in his career, director Shankar is working on two movies simultaneously. The ace director, known for films like Enthiran, I, and Anniyan, is currently directing Kamal Haasan in Indian 2 and Ram Charan in Game Changer. The director, along with Kamal Haasan and the crew of Indian 2, was in South Africa for a schedule, which has been wrapped up today.
The schedule started in Taiwan–where actor Kalidas Jayaram joined the sets–and it moved to Johannesburg in South Africa. Sharing a picture with Kamal from the sets of the film, Shankar wrote, “Thank you for this power-packed Schedule @ikamalhaasan sir. See you again in May! Will be moving from #Indian2Gamechanger for the climax!!!”

Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian about an anti-corruption vigilante named Senapathy, who goes around killing corrupt government officials. The film was well-received back then and ended with the titular hero escaping a fatal accident. Indian 2 will mark the return of Senapathy. The movie has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
On the other hand, Ram Charan’s film Game Changer, which stars Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, and Anjali, is touted to be a huge film in the RRR hero’s career. It has to be seen whether the ace director will pull off two hits simultaneously. The film has created a lot of expectations among fans as it will be Ram Charan’s first release after Oscar-winning film RRR.
