Sakka Podu Podu Raja trailer: Santhanam does some Rajinikanth-esque action

Going by the trailer, Santhanam's Sakka Podu Podu Raja is a romantic potboiler that has trendy music, gravity-defying fight sequences, punch lines and the lead couple dancing in exotic locations. It also promises to be a laugh riot given that it has many leading comedy actors.

Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja trailer is out

The trailer of actor Santhanam’s upcoming film Sakka Podu Podu Raja has dropped, where we get to see its lead actor performing gravity-defying stunts and flicking chewing gum into his mouth like Superstar Rajinikanth. The rise and rise of Santhanam in the Tamil film industry has been remarkable as only a few people have managed to pull that off.

Who would have thought a supporting actor who usually played a sidekick to Simbu in films, will go on to become one of the promising lead actors of Kollywood. Sakka Podu Podu Raja is clearly Santhanam’s effort to take his onscreen heroism to the next level, joining the league of other hit mass heroes. Sample this: according to reports, five popular choreographers Raju Sundaram, Sridhar, Dinesh, Nobel, and Johnny have lent their expertise to shoot the hero introduction song for the film.

In a lighter vein, he is also seemingly getting some action off the screen involving street fights. He recently reportedly punched a realtor after the deal between them went sour.

It also promises to be a laugh riot given that it has many leading comedy actors (excluding Santhanam. He is a hero now) Vivek, VTV Ganesh, Robo Shankar and Mayilsamy among others in the star cast. Vaibhavi Shandilya plays the female lead.

Meanwhile, it is also a special film for Simbu fans as it marks Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’s star debut as a music composer. Composer Anirudh Ravichander has also sung a song for the film.

The film is bankrolled by VTV Ganesh under his home production banner VTV Productions and it will hit the screens soon.
