Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shoot of his upcoming film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel. Production house Lyca Productions took to Twitter to share the exciting news, accompanied by a snapshot of the movie’s team alongside ‘Thalaivar’.

Vettaiyan is a title that resonates deeply with Rajinikanth fans, harking back to the superstar’s iconic portrayal of the enigmatic character in the blockbuster Chandramukhi. The teaser, unveiled on the occasion of the actor’s 75th birthday, showcased Rajinikanth in diverse avatars, sparking speculation about his character’s multifaceted nature.

Vettaiyan holds special significance for Rajinikanth as he reunites with his mentor, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, after 33 years. Rajinikanth’s collaboration with Amitabh has already set tongues wagging. The two completed a schedule in Mumbai a few weeks ago.

The eagerly awaited Tamil film will also grace screens in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring a pan-Indian audience revels in its magic.

The ensemble cast also features stars like Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, which will be released this October, according to reports.

Rajinikanth will next join the sets of Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The recently released teaser of Coolie has led to a lot of fan theories about the film.
