Rajinikanth fan mocks Vijay starrer The Greatest Of All Time first look poster, Venkat Prabhu asks him to spread love

A Rajinikanth fan shared a poster of Will Smith's Hollywood film and wondered if Vijay is remaking it.

Director Venkat Prabhu has never shied away from accepting that his films are inspired by many Hollywood movies. So, when a Rajinikanth fan shared a poster of Gemini Man, noted the similarity between the Will Smith film and Venkat’s The Greatest Of All Time and asked whether Vijay is remaking a Hollywood film again after Leo, Venkat Prabhu shut him down by asking him to spread love.

The poster of Vijay’s The Greatest Of All Time poster has an old and young Vijay walking against the backdrop of a parachute. Both seem to have accomplished a task. Now, it looks a bit similar to the poster of Will Smith’s Gemini Man, which also had the American star playing the father and the son.

One Rajinikanth fan shared both posters and asked Venkat Prabhu to steer away from directing Vijay in a Hollywood remake as his team would force them to add some cliches to the script. A part of his post read, “If you are still sure about a Hollywood remake, at least please refrain from including hopeless #ThalapathyVijay elements(Fake Moaning gestures, Unnatural Father/Sister Sentiments, Forceful Romances and kisses) in your film. Vijay & Team will force you to do all that *hit, Just politely ask them to remember their previous outing #Leo which happened to become a half-baked Hollywood remake (sic).”

In reply, Venkat Prabhu wrote, “Sorry bro. I am expecting a lot from you. Happy New Year, and spread love.”

Lately, Rajinikanth and Vijay’s fans have been warring online as it is perceived that the latter is aiming to become the next top star of Tamil cinema. Despite Vijay admitting that there is only one Superstar in Tamil cinema and that’s Rajinikanth, he continues to be the target of Rajinikanth fans.

Meanwhile, a second poster of GOAT is expected today evening. Other than Vijay, the film has Prashanth, Mohan, Meenakshi Chaudhry, Laila and Sneha in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film.
