As far as the worldwide collection of Leo goes, the film has managed to earn over Rs 450 crore. It makes Leo the second-biggest hit in Tamil cinema this year. Jailer is still holding onto the numero uno position. The Vijay-starrer is currently the fourth biggest Tamil film of all time with 2.0, Jailer, and Ponniyin Selvan I occupying the first three positions, respectively.

Trisha, Gautham Menon, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun also star in Leo, which has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

Vijay has already moved on to his next project, which is titled Thalapathy 68. The film, which was launched in Chennai, will be directed by Venkat Prabhu. Meenakshi Chaudhry, Prashanth, Mohan, and Prabhudheva are part of the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film, which will be released next year.
