Speaking to Sun News, Tamil serial actor Kamalesh, who reportedly last saw him on Thursday, said Marimuthu was dubbing at a studio in Vadapalani when he experienced some uneasiness. “He finished his half of the dubbing work and left the studio saying he felt suffocated. We thought he would be standing outside to get some fresh air, but he did not return to the studio for a long time. When we went and checked outside, he was not there. He had left in his car. I called his daughter who informed me that he was admitted to Suriya Hospital. When we went there, we learnt that he is no more. This is a huge loss,” he said.
