Red is the wanted colour in Indian cinema right now. The success of action films like KGF, Pushpa, Vikram, Jailer, and more such movies teeming with bloodshed, decapitation, and more acts of violence has made all the actors of the country partake in the bloodbath. Jr NTR has joined the ranks with his upcoming film Devara Part 1. The teaser of the film was released on Monday, which features a sea of blood. That’s more telling of what the movie has in store.

The promo seems to be not part of the film or that’s how it looks like. It has been shot just to set the tone of the film, and it does the job pretty well. The movie is made on a huge budget, and every scene screams of high production value.
The video opens with shots of boats sailing towards a shore. Composer Anirudh Ravichander brings his typical English number to the rural setting, which has become another common trait of these action films. The music is reminiscent of Leo’s “Bloody Sweet” track. Back to the teaser: As the boats reach the shore and the goons get on the shore, they are confronted by the hero who makes them bleed turning the sea red. A particular shot of splashing blood forming a full circle with the crescent moon stands out for its dramatic effect.
Jr NTR fans are happy as the promo has become an instant hit raking in thousands of views online.
