AR Rahman channels his inner actor for hilarious recreation of Raawadi meme, watch
Raawadi, composed by AR Rahman and crooned by Shubha, is a dance track from Silambarasan's film Pathu Thala.

Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman is known to be someone who prefers staying behind the camera. However, he decided to indulge in some light hearted humour as he re-created a meme video on his Pathu Thala song “Raawadi”, with singer Shubha and lyricist Snehan.
The original meme video featured content creators Vikram Arul Vidyapathi and Hari Vikkals giving a funny spin to the recording session of the Pathu Thala song.
Shubha recreated the video with AR Rahman and Snehan. In the video posted on social media on Wednesday, Rahman is seen enjoying his part. The singer wrote in the caption, “Had to recreate this masterpiece with the OGs Yes- yes I did get @arrahman to act LOL make sure to stream our song Raawadi!!Original video by @vikkals_vikram @hariimuniyappan.”

AR Rahman recently announced his next Hindi project, a collaboration with Aanand L. Rai and Dhanush. The film, titled Tere Ishq Mein, seems to belong to the ‘world of Raanjhana’.
Tere Ishq Mein was announced on the 10th release anniversary of Raanjhanaa. In the announcement video, Dhanush’s character Shankar makes a reference to the Raanjhanaa character Kundan. He says, “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge? (Last time it was Kundan, he agreed. But how will you stop Shankar this time?)”
