Even as Nayanthara is receiving praise for her role as Narmada Rai in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, the announcement of her next film is out. After being a part of a mega-budget film like Jawan, Nayanthara has opted for a content-driven and medium-scale film titled Mannangatti Since 1960, which will be directed by debutant Dude Vicky. Vicky, who has written the Tamil web series Kalloori Saalai and Thiruvalluvar Consultancy Services, is turning film director with Mannangatti. The motion poster of the film shows a temple with a witness stand where Lady Justice is standing with her sword and scale. The close-up shot of her eye is cut to a similar shot of Nayanthara's face, and that's the only glimpse of the actress we get in the motion poster. Other than Nayanthara, the film has Yogi Babu, Devadarshini, Gouri Kishan, and Narendra Prasath in important roles. Nayanthara, who doesn't promote her films, is keeping up with the trend and hasn't shared any updates about Mannangatti. However, she shared a fan art which featured her family as Incredibles on Instagram.
