Hailing from a non-film background, Ashok Selvan made his foray into the film industry by playing a key role in Nalan Kumarasamy’s black-comedy crime movie Soodhu Kavvum. His performances in Pizza II: Villa, Thegidi, Sila Samayangalil, Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal and Por Thozhil garnered the actor significant acclaim.

Daughter of actor, producer and politician Arun Pandian, and wife Vijaya Pandian, Keerthi made her debut in Harish Ram LH’s adventure film Thumbaa.

Ashok and Keerthi are currently working on Dhinakaran Sivalingam’s Blue Star, bankrolled by ace filmmaker Pa Ranjith. This marks their first on-screen collaboration.

Ashok Selvan meets Superstar Rajinikanth

Recently, Ashok Selvan had the opportunity to meet with Superstar Rajinikanth to receive his blessings ahead of the start of filming for his upcoming web series, titled Gangs. Bankrolled by Soundarya Rajinikanth, Gangs is penned and helmed by Noah Abraham, who previously worked with Soundarya in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 as an assistant director.
