While most actors these days don’t mind spreading their wings to include television, Shahid Kapoor is an actor who is not too keen to step on the telly. “Reality shows mostly need film actors. They want you as the star and not really as a character,” mentioned Kapoor, adding that if something exciting comes up, he will definitely take it up. He also mentioned that he has always enjoyed hosting award shows. “I think that way, television is a great medium. The kind of reactions you get and connect that you make with the audience when they see you live on television is amazing. It helps you reach out to a great number of people.”
