Divya Khosla Kumar who made her directorial debut with Yaariyan is all set to direct her second film which will be shot near Shimla and in Canada. The love story titled Sanam Re will have Rishi Kapoor playing a grandfather for the first time. “Since I began working on the script, I had Rishiji in mind to play the role of a grandfather and I am happy that he loved the script. But I cannot divulge whose grandfather he plays,” said Kumar, adding that though initially reluctant, as he had never played one, he was convinced after the role was narrated to him. The film, which also stars Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela, is being produced by Bhushan Kumar. Rautela will be seen playing a rich socialite, somewhat similar to Kim Kardashian. “We haven’t started shooting yet, so I can’t say much about my character. But this role is different from what I have done in my first film, Singh Saab The Great,” says Rautela. The film may also feature a song by singer Yo Yo Honey Singh who is still recuperating from his illness. - KS
