Actress Shweta Basu Prasad, who won the National Award for Best Child Artist for her performance in Makdee, was arrested recently for being involved in a high-profile prostitution racket. She was caught red-handed by the Hyderabad Police when they raided a famous hotel at Banjara Hills. The actress, who had worked in some Telugu films, confessed that she was out of money, and had no other way to support her family.
No relief in case
The Supreme Court has decided to give their final decision in Salman Khan’s 1998-black buck case on October 28. The court has criticised the stay on conviction granted to Salman and said that the law should be same for all. The actor had been accused of hunting and killing two Chinkaras and a black buck during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan along with other actors of the film.
