With major portions of the film complete, the last schedule of Hawaizaada will finally take off by the end of this month. Though the film faced a few minor hurdles, the unit is all set to roll and will ensure that the film is complete by October first week. Confirming the news, actor Ayushmann Khurrana stated, “Yes, we are all set to start shooting. There is just a ten-day schedule, post which, the entire film will be complete. In the meanwhile, I was working on my single and we also wrapped up YRF’s Dum Lagake Haisha.”
Director Vibhu Puri confirmed that the last schedule will take off by September 28, with 2-3 days of shoot in Mumbai. “We will then shoot for a week in Rajkot and a few other small villages in and around Gujarat. That way, we will be able to finish filming in the first week of October itself,” stated Puri.
Now that the film still has a schedule to go, it won’t be able to meet the original release date deadline, which was earlier announced as October 10. Keeping in mind the extensive post-production (including the VFX work) which the film will require, Puri stated that he does not wish to rush the process and will let the post-production work run smoothly. “Once the final product is ready, the production house will take a call on the new release date. Right now, we are all focusing on successfully completing the film,” mentioned Puri.
