Vinay Pathak suffered a hairline fracture after he was punched hard by his co-star Varun Dhawan during the last leg of shooting for Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur. Varun was required to punch Vinay for an action scene and he ended up injuring the actor who immediately collapsed on the floor causing panic in the unit. The actor was taken to a nearby hospital and tests confirmed a hairline fracture on his shoulder and the actor was advised rest.

 

Plea dismissed

The Supreme Court recently rejected a plea seeking ban on Rajkumar Hirani-directed upcoming film PK for allegedly promoting obscenity and hurting religious sentiments, saying religion should not be brought into “matters of art and entertainment”. The apex court also did not see anything wrong with the poster, where a nude Aamir Khan is seen standing on a railway track with a transistor protecting his modesty. The petition was filed by All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front.
